FREEHOLD CONSERVATION
April 18, 2008This is the sign of private ( freehold) conservation in the Fraser Coast Region , if you own some bush ( native or remnant vegetation) and you are interested in learning about the regions biodiversity , then call me on 41509806 or 0448917571 or just leave a comment . I can offer you this conservation service free of charge , which includes a registration with Greening Australia for your property , links to the LFW sector and magazine , and contact with other LFW people in the region , free workshops and a free sign for your font gate to suitably impress the neighbors!.
LFW is a non title binding agreement you make , which simply requires you to agree to protect your habitat area on the property , so that wildlife may exist within or travel to it. I will come to your property or get a colleauge to visit .
As an example , the block in red shading is ideal for LFW because it is adjacent to Vernon Conservation Park , which is a small ‘National Park’ situated across the road from Koppers logs on the Torbanlea Rd.
This is a good link to LFW in SEQ for more information :
